1. ORGANIZATION

La Brava Trail is a trail running sporting event organized by La Brava Trail / Run Costa Brava.

Registration implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.

2. PARTICIPATION AND RESPONSIBILITY

Participation is open to persons aged 18 and over.

The participant declares that:

• They are in suitable physical and mental condition.
• They are aware of the demands of a long-distance event.
• They are participating voluntarily.

Participation is carried out under the sole responsibility of the participant.

3. EVENT CHARACTERISTICS

• Long-distance race.
• Event conducted under a partial self-sufficiency system.
• Mixed terrain: trails, tracks, urban sections and natural areas.
• Staggered and non-mass start.
• The organization may modify the route or schedule for safety reasons.

4. REGISTRATION AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Registration is considered valid once payment has been completed.

No refunds will be issued in the event of:

• Non-participation.
• Injury.
• Personal circumstances or changes.

Exceptions will only be considered if explicitly communicated by the organization.

In the event of cancellation due to force majeure:

• A refund is not guaranteed.
• The organization may offer alternatives (change of date, etc.).

5. SAFETY AND INSURANCE

The event has:

• Civil liability insurance.
• Accident insurance for participants.

However:

The participant assumes the risks inherent to the activity.

The organization is not responsible for:

• Injuries resulting from participation.
• Damage caused to third parties by the participant.
• Loss, theft or damage to personal equipment.

6. MANDATORY EQUIPMENT

Participants must carry the mandatory equipment defined by the organization.

The organization reserves the right to carry out checks at any time.

Failure to comply may result in:

• A penalty.
• Disqualification.

7. ENVIRONMENT

The race takes place in protected natural environments.

It is mandatory to:

• Leave no waste behind.
• Respect the natural environment.

Any infringement may result in immediate disqualification.

8. TRAFFIC REGULATIONS

On sections open to traffic:

• Participants must comply with traffic regulations.
• Participants must proceed with caution.
• Participants must respect pedestrians and vehicles.

9. IMAGE RIGHTS

By registering, the participant authorizes:

• The use of their image in photographs and videos of the event.
• Its publication on the La Brava Trail and Run Costa Brava websites, social media and communication channels.
• The use of such images for promotional purposes related to the event.

10. DATA PROTECTION (GDPR)

Personal data will be processed by La Brava Trail for the purpose of managing participation in the event.

Participants may exercise their rights of access, rectification or deletion by contacting the organization.

Personal data will not be shared with third parties, except where legally required or necessary for the proper management of the race.

11. CONDUCT

Participants must:

• Respect volunteers and the organization.
• Follow the established route.
• Maintain appropriate conduct.

The organization may remove any participant who fails to comply with these rules.

12. FINAL ACCEPTANCE

Registration for La Brava Trail implies full acceptance of these terms and conditions.
